VR-based Safety training for factory operators

| minute read

Context & Challenges

A major player in the design and manufacture of aerostructures, seats and chairs, this company provides health and safety briefings to plant operators via classroom training using PowerPoint and video support.  More effective ways to help them learn the required gestures and behaviours were needed. The aim is to replace these training sessions with a concrete approach that can be applied in their working environment.

CIMPA mission and added value

CIMPA analyses the training processes at the operators' workstations and develops a training application based on Virtual Reality to make them aware of the risks of working at height, to make them appropriate the correct gestures and to validate the correct application of these measures during their activities.
