What you can expect
As a specialist (m/f/d) in the area of Value Management (VM), you will work closely with the various departments (Engineering, Manufacturing, Costing, Procurement).
Your main tasks will include:
- Development of savings potentials within the scope of design-to-cost projects
- Creating business cases and Pareto analyses
- Preparation of cost breakdowns within the scope of reverse engineering activities
- Value Analysis: Carrying out value analyses based on trade-off studies
- Value Management: Development of decision papers for optimization projects
- Project management of cost optimization projects and corresponding documentation
- Knowledge transfer through training & coaching
- Moderation of meetings and workshops
Qualifications
You have a degree in aerospace or mechanical engineering or a comparable qualification.
You also have:
- First professional experience in value management, cost management or design to cost/value
- Knowledge of product design and technical understanding
- Confident handling of MS Office and G-Suite
Ideally, you also have basic process, method and tool know-how in Aerospace-Cost-Convergence-Management (Cabin and/or Airframe).
Strong communication skills, a confident manner and service orientation are just as important to us as technical expertise. We expect very good German and English skills and a willingness to travel.
