What you can expect:
As an Export Control Expert, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with export control laws and regulations. You will work closely with the export and compliance team to ensure that all international exports of goods and technology by the company comply with applicable laws and regulations. You will work closely with other departments to ensure that all export activities meet company requirements and regulations.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Review compliance with export control laws and regulations and ensure compliance with export licenses and permits
- Monitor export activities and ensure that all exports of goods and technology comply with applicable laws and regulations
- Develop training programs for employees to ensure that all employees are informed about export control laws and regulations
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure that all export activities meet company requirements and regulations
- Conduct internal reviews and audits to monitor the company's export control activities
- Identify risks and threats related to export controls and develop measures to minimize these risks
- Collaborate with authorities and other stakeholders on export control issues
- Update export control policies and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
- Conduct compliance monitoring to ensure that all export activities are conducted in accordance with applicable laws and regulations
Qualifications
What we expect:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Law, International Trade or a related field
- At least 5 years of experience in export control or compliance, ideally in an international company
- Comprehensive knowledge of applicable export control laws and regulations
- Experience collaborating with authorities and other stakeholders on export control issues
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to quickly understand and analyze complex information
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks
- Ability to travel if necessary
