CIMPA's Beginning :

CIMPA was founded in France 1995 out of the GIE EADS Corporate Research Center to be the link between research and practical applications.

Specialising in computer integrated manufacturing and industrial applications, CIMPA continued to step forward and entered the German market with a subsidiary in Hamburg in 2001.

Today, CIMPA is a fully owned subsidiary of Airbus S.A.S. and present in several European countries. Its target is to address Product Lifecycle Management issues covering all process aspects from design to manufacturing.
